New Testament Romans Chapter 10, Verses 13 to 17:
13 For “everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” 14 How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching? 15 And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!” 16 But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Isaiah says, “Lord, who has believed what he has heard from us?” 17 So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ.
Let us pray:
Loving Heavenly Father, we thank and praise you for your special grace. Today, you have given us this time to praise and worship you together. We come to seek you, no matter what burdens we carry, through your word grant us rest, renew our strength, and we completely surrender this time to you. We are willing to open our hearts to you, may the Holy Spirit guide our hearts. In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, we pray, Amen! Hallelujah!
The topic we share today is: Receiving Blessings Through Hearing the Word.
The more time you spend drawing near to Jesus, looking up to Jesus, and meditating on His words, especially the words of God's grace, your faith will grow. Amen! You cannot generate faith through the Ten Commandments because the Ten Commandments are not meant to produce faith, but to make people aware of sin. If you want to have faith today, you need to come before Jesus Christ.
Each of us needs faith to do anything. Brothers and sisters, all blessings are received through faith, Amen? If you want to receive from God, you need to draw on it with faith. Hallelujah!
Where does faith come from? Faith does not come from the Ten Commandments, but from the words of Jesus Christ. As we have mentioned many times, Jesus Christ is grace and truth. When you understand grace and truth, you have faith. Hallelujah!
Point One: Listening to the Gospel Brings Faith and Change
Just now we looked at Romans Chapter 10, Verse 17, which says, So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ.
Who is Christ? Jesus. Here, "hearing" is mentioned twice; faith comes from hearing, and hearing comes from the word of Christ. Where does faith come from? Faith comes from the words of our Lord Jesus Christ.
When you listen to the words of Jesus Christ, faith can be produced. So when we talk about Jesus and what He did on the cross, you have faith. No matter how weak you are, when you talk about Jesus and His works with others, faith is generated. Because He Himself is the beginning of faith, Hallelujah! We can believe His words, first of all, because we hear His words.
Verse 14 tells us, But how are they to call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching?
You cannot call on someone you do not believe in. Today, those who are willing to believe in the Lord Jesus are willing to call on Him because they know He can help them. The same is true in daily life; if you do not believe in someone, you will not ask them to do things for you! Where does the gospel come from? The gospel was first preached by our Lord Jesus Christ, then passed on to His disciples, and His disciples passed it on to others. You can believe in the Lord Jesus Christ because someone told you this gospel, and that is how you can believe.
Perhaps you have listened to many radio programs about the gospel or read many books about the gospel. So what kind of word do you need? From Genesis to Revelation, you must see Jesus Christ in God's words; when you see Jesus Christ, you see faith. If you see Jesus in the scriptures, you see blessings.
If you read the Bible and do not see the words of Jesus Christ, you might think that God is a very cruel God. When Abraham was old, God asked him to do something.
Genesis 22:2 God said, "Take your son, your only son, whom you love, Isaac, and go to the region of Moriah. Sacrifice him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains I will tell you about."
Abraham knew what a burnt offering was; it meant binding the child with ropes, placing him on the wood, cutting his throat with a knife, letting the blood flow out, and finally burning the child.
Brothers and sisters, when you read this verse, what do you think? Many people say, "Oh, this God cannot be trusted. Isaac is Abraham's most precious child; he wouldn't trade anything for this son." But you see, God precisely chose his most precious son. If you do not understand what God is saying, you might mistakenly think that God wants to take away the most precious thing in your life. If that were the case, who would dare to trust this Lord?
In the past, I heard some other pastors say, "If you have a son and God asks you for him, what will you do? Will you give him or not?" If you encounter this problem, do not answer him; do not pay attention to him because he does not understand what this scripture is really about. If he thinks that God wants to take away your most cherished and precious thing, if you give it, you will feel heartbroken; if you do not give it, you will feel guilty. In short, no matter what answer you give, you will feel uncomfortable. Brothers and sisters, do you know? But why did God ask Abraham to sacrifice his beloved child on the altar? That foreshadowed Jesus Christ.
Isaac was Abraham's beloved son. If you understand how much Abraham loved his son Isaac, you should understand how much God loves His only beloved Son, Jesus. Do you see? Isaac was sacrificed on the altar; did God want him? No.
In the Old Testament, God did not want Abraham's only beloved son; but did God give us His only beloved Son? Yes, so you can see, this is God's love.
If you see God's love for us in the story of Abraham sacrificing Isaac, Abraham had no hope of having children anymore; the only child he had, who could carry wood, was probably around thirteen years old, and yet God wanted him to be sacrificed on the altar. Brothers and sisters, have you ever thought that our God is the same? When Jesus grew up from a young age, He finally reached thirty years old, the best age, yet He was sacrificed on the cross for us. God did not spare this Son from us; He did not send a sheep to replace His Son but truly allowed His only beloved Son to die on the cross. This is God's love.
When you read the Old Testament like this, you understand: Wow, God gave His most beloved Son, Jesus, for me, allowing Him to bleed and sacrifice on the cross for my sins, so that I can be reconciled with the Father in heaven! Thank the Lord! When you read the Bible, you need to read out the Jesus that God brings forth, and you will see God's grace, and you will have faith.
When Christ is pointed out in the scriptures, we can feel that we are loved by God, Amen?
After Jesus resurrected, there were two disciples whose faith was very weak. They were going from Jerusalem to Emmaus, and their faith was weak. On the way, they met Jesus. Jesus began to explain the Old Testament scriptures to them. How did Jesus explain the Old Testament scriptures?
He tells us in Luke 24 that He explained to them everything written about Himself in the Law of Moses, the Prophets, and the Psalms. Just like I just shared the story of Abraham sacrificing Isaac, at this moment, Jesus might say to the two disciples going to Emmaus, "Isaac foreshadows Christ."
This is how Jesus explained the Old Testament scriptures, clarifying everything about Christ in the Old Testament. At the end, at the table of the Last Supper, when Jesus broke the bread, the eyes of these two disciples were opened. At that moment, they recognized Jesus. The two disciples had this dialogue,
In Luke 24:32, They said to each other, “Did not our hearts burn within us while he talked to us on the road, while he opened to us the Scriptures?”
Brothers and sisters, what do you discover? When the scriptures are explained correctly, your heart will not be cold; it will not make your heart more discouraged but will turn your heart from being cold to being warm; from having no faith to becoming a person of faith.
Brothers and sisters, when you hear the correct word, your heart will become warm, and you will feel that you are loved by God. Conversely, let us think again, if someone explains the Ten Commandments to you, the Ten Commandments are actually a magnifying glass, or more accurately, a microscope. When it is placed on you, you will see how filthy you are, what sins you have committed. At this moment, you originally had faith, but now you have no faith; you feel unworthy to come before God, you feel that God does not love you, that God has abandoned you, that He will not listen to your prayers, and so on. This is the effect of condemnation brought about by the law.
Today, we want to hear the gospel of Jesus Christ because the second half of Verse 15 says, “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!” Amen! What are they preaching? The gospel! Brothers and sisters, what is the gospel? The gospel is good news.
Brothers and sisters, is the law good news? Are the Ten Commandments good news? No, because the commandments bring death. But what is the good news today? You no longer have to struggle painfully with your sins because Jesus has already borne them on the cross for you. You do not have to carry your burdens forward; you can cast your burdens on Jesus, and He will give you rest. This is the good news. Therefore, how beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!
Why do some people find it so difficult to share the gospel? Because some people preach the gospel incorrectly. Who wants to hear a message of condemnation?
If today, after you come here, there are a hundred rules to follow, would anyone still want to come? For example, the first thing you must do when you enter this church is to take off your shoes on the first floor, cut your nails, and groom your eyebrows. After following a hundred rules, then you can come up to the meeting. Do you think anyone would come?
What gospel are we preaching? We are telling others that you are no longer enemies with God; you have been reconciled with God through Jesus. You are now His beloved children. Jesus has completely removed all your sins on the cross. In the eyes of God, you are holy, perfect, and without blemish. Brothers and sisters, people may see your shortcomings, but God sees you as without blemish. As beautiful as Jesus is, so are you. Do not underestimate yourself, brothers and sisters; this is the real you in God's eyes. Hallelujah!
Some people say, "Today, I still find many imperfections in life." What you lack is to continually, continually listen to God's words because we gather for one day a week, and the rest of the time we are listening to negative news from the world. Many people have heard too much negative news, such as, "Recently, a plane went missing somewhere," or "There was another problem somewhere, and many people died." Listening to such news every day, how can you possibly have faith? That event has nothing to do with you! But it will affect your faith. So if you want your faith to be restored, you need to continually listen to the words of Jesus Christ.
How does God tell you? No matter where you go, I will be with you; I will keep you. You need to know that God is with you, and then you have nothing to fear, Amen?
Recently, our sister Dong went to learn to drive. Sometimes, the learner drives like a child playing bumper cars, and one easy mistake is to press the accelerator instead of the brake.
As a result, this incident really happened. While they were learning to drive, another learner crashed into them, and the young man sitting in the same car had a broken leg. However, she had an exam the next day, and she said, "Now I see a car, and I am scared. Will I pass tomorrow?" Isn't that quite scary? She just saw a bloody scene; can she act as if she didn't see it? Such things will affect your faith. At that time, I comforted her, "Do not be afraid; God is with you." Thank the Lord, she passed the exam smoothly the next day!
Jesus is with you today, no matter where you go, Jesus is with you; He will keep your steps. The words of Jesus can generate faith. So keep listening, listening to what kind of message? Listening to the gospel of Jesus Christ.
You know, when we preach the gospel, many people always oppose it. They say, "You talk about grace all day; shouldn't you talk about how many sins we have?" Brothers and sisters, actually, the problem of sin, you know, I know, everyone knows. What believers need is the power to overcome sin. We need to interpret the truth according to the Bible; grace can overcome sin. The more you understand Christ's grace, the more you can overcome sin.
I have seen many strange testimonies online, and many people particularly like such testimonies: a certain person dreamed at night that they went to hell, describing how terrible hell is, with boiling oil and all kinds of biting things. They saw it inside and were eventually saved by Jesus. Many people are frightened after watching similar testimonies.
There is a Korean painter who painted all the situations of going to hell. I looked at it and felt scared; I couldn't sleep that night. Brothers and sisters, do you think this is the gospel? Is this good news? No, but some people like to talk about these things, and actually, talking about sin and talking about these things is the same.
Today, we do not need to understand how many levels hell has or what kind of torture is inside. We do not need to know. Because if you do not go there, why understand it? If someone wants to go there, shouldn't they understand it well? Brothers and sisters, where are we going? The Kingdom of Heaven. Who is in the Kingdom of Heaven? Jesus. Why not learn more about Jesus? Is the Kingdom of Heaven beautiful or ugly? Beautiful.
When Jesus came, did He talk a lot about the Kingdom of Heaven? What is the Kingdom of Heaven like? Why did He not describe hell? Does He not know about hell? He knows. He did not describe hell.
Today, I believe many parents have educated their children like this: "Let me tell you, if you do not study well, do you see that beggar at the door? You will end up like him." Brothers and sisters, we always use negative examples to educate children, and in the end, children remember that negativity.
But we need to be people who preach the gospel and bring good news, so that people have hope and faith! You need to tell them: "Look at so-and-so; they became famous for playing the piano at a young age! If you learn, you can be like them." The child will build such a picture in their heart: "I want to be like Lang Lang." You keep telling them, and this plants the seed of success in their hearts.
In the church, we do not need to talk about how powerful the devil is; we need to talk about how much grace Jesus Christ has. When people continually hear the gospel, they can have faith to overcome evil.
What does Verse 16 say? But they have not all obeyed the gospel.
What does this mean? Today, we are talking about grace, but not everyone is willing to accept it. Many people say, "It is impossible; such things cannot happen." Many people say, "You think that by believing in Jesus, you can enter the Kingdom of Heaven? I tell you, there is no way! You must have good behavior, you must offer to the Lord, and then you might be able to enter."
Brothers and sisters, did Jesus ever tell us such words in the Bible? Did He say, "You must strive to do good, you must strive to obey the law, then you might be able to enter"? Did He say that? No.
None of us can keep all the laws, so Jesus said, "Everyone who believes in me will have eternal life." Brothers and sisters, we are not justified by our good behavior; we rely on Jesus Christ. Jesus shed His blood on the cross for our sins, and our sins are forgiven.
If today you hear negative things, for example, many people put a wrong thing in your heart, it will bind you continuously and eventually change you completely.
This morning (we need to pray for this brother and sister), a brother from Hebei contacted me and said that his wife recently attended some training class. Her purpose was to go there to preach the gospel, but after being trained there, she came back, and perhaps while she was there, the prophets there were quite strong. I will tell you, after a while, you will hear what kind of voice, and when you go back, this voice will accompany you and tell you what to do.
As a result, when she came back, that voice indeed kept leading her, telling her, "You need to poke your eyes out," and so on. Then she started to poke her eyes with her hands. Fortunately, her husband saw it and immediately stopped her. He said, "Please pray for my wife; she seems to be bound by some evil spirit."
Brothers and sisters, not everyone who preaches is preaching the gospel. The gospel does not bring bondage; it does not make us discouraged; rather, it gives us hope. In everything, we can have hope in Christ, Amen.
No matter which church you gather in, if someone puts fear in your heart and you feel scared after listening, do not listen anymore. Because it does not come from God. The Bible tells us that there is no fear in love; perfect love casts out fear!
The Romans we read earlier say, "If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."
Is that clear? It is not ambiguous. So do not let wrong teachings disturb you or bind you.
Are we still imperfect in our actions? Do we still sin? We must admit this. Even today, those who believe in Jesus will still have weaknesses and will still sin. At this time, we need to encourage each other with Christ's grace, correct those who are wrong, and warn ourselves not to commit the same mistakes.
The brothers and sisters in the Corinthian church were very gifted. Many people in their church could speak in tongues and interpret tongues, and they held communion very frequently, and they had many members. However, the Corinthian church also had the most chaotic people. Why? Because Corinth was a very special place geographically; it was a place of extremely developed commerce and economy, and people were very mixed; all kinds of people were there.
At that time, the Romans built many temples in the city of Corinth, and there were many temple prostitutes in those temples. The Romans said, "If you are a man and want your business to prosper, you should go to this temple and have relations with this holy woman. The more times you do it, the more blessed you will be." Isn't that chaotic?
At that time, they were indeed influenced by this culture, and many people went to these temple prostitutes. As a result, many believers in Corinth also went. Paul knew about this and wanted to encourage the Corinthians to turn back! Brothers and sisters, if this happened in your church and you found out, how would you treat that person?
Many people would say, "I guess you are not a true believer; you are not a believer in Jesus. A true believer would never do such a thing." If that were the case, Paul should have given up on the Corinthians. There would be no First and Second Corinthians.
Let us see how Paul dealt with this matter at that time. Paul did not condemn them; instead, he told them about their noble identity in Christ.
In 1 Corinthians 6:19-20,
"Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body."
Do you see that the problem is serious? But what did Paul do? Paul still reminded them, still encouraged them, and made them recognize their true identity, saying, "Do you not know your identity? You are a beloved child of God; you are a prince! You do not need to do such things that defile your body. The Holy Spirit dwells in you; glorify God in your body."
Would they be able to accept such words? They would immediately think, "Yes, how could I go there?" When they feel their noble identity, they can overcome that issue. If we deliberately strike them down, saying, "You do such things; you are not even as good as a Christian. You might as well not believe; God will not listen to your prayers anymore; just give up!" If they hear that, they might think, "Well, I have already done this; my sin is unforgivable." They might deliberately indulge in it and continue doing it, right?
The true gospel can bring faith and change a person. If you know God's grace and provision for you, you will not want to do filthy things.
Brothers and sisters, do you know that you are blessed people now? Do you know that you are the apple of God's eye? And you are without blemish in God's eyes; each of you is a temple of the Holy Spirit. No matter where you go, the Holy Spirit follows you. Amen! When you know your true identity, when you see filthy things, you will stay far away from them, Amen? I am a prince; how can I do such things? I disdain to do such things.
When Jesus preached the gospel in the New Testament, He repeatedly told people to keep listening to the word. Jesus often said, "He who has ears to hear, let him hear." It does not mean they do not have ears; it means if you are willing to listen, you should listen. In fact, the original meaning is that you should listen repeatedly.
You are sitting in the temple of God listening to God's words; God will satisfy you. You do not need to run to the KTV at night, listening to rock music, sweating all over, and finally being too exhausted to go home and sleep. You do not need that because Jesus can completely satisfy you, Amen! So we need to listen to the gospel more, to the words of grace of Jesus Christ, Amen!
The secret to receiving grace begins with listening. In the Old Testament, the prophets told the Israelites, "Israel, you must listen!" Amen! Brothers and sisters, if we do not listen today, how can you believe? In the process of continually listening to the word, people's thinking will be renewed, and their behavior will change. You will see God's grace manifested in your life.
You need to keep listening, keep listening, Amen? Because the words of Christ are the seeds of the gospel. The more you listen, the more your life will undergo a transformative change.
Now we have been doing this for half a year; every time we have such a sermon, we have recordings. In fact, every time you are here, you may only receive a small part. How can you make this information become your faith? If you think today's message is good, listen to it repeatedly. In the process, God will accomplish His infinite great things through these limited words, Amen!
Because every time before I preach, I pray: "Lord, I know that the words I speak are limited, but I wish the Holy Spirit would accomplish Your infinite great things through these limited words." Each of you needs something that I do not know now, but the Holy Spirit knows. He will use my limited words to supply you with infinite provisions, so I suggest brothers and sisters to repeatedly listen to my previous sermon recordings during your free time; you will gain faith from them, Amen?
Many people say, "Lord, I am always weak; what should I do?" Listen more to the word, and faith will naturally arise; your behavior will naturally change.
Here, let me give brothers and sisters a simple example. Because our time is limited, I originally wanted to talk about a lot, but now I can only mention a little.
In Acts 14:8, it tells us that when Paul went to Lystra to preach the gospel, there was a man who was crippled in his feet, who had never walked. The Bible specifically tells us every word, saying "had never walked." Paul went there to preach the good news of Jesus Christ's cross. Actually, we cannot see this from the Chinese Bible, but in the original text, it tells us that Paul preached over and over again. A group of people came, and another group left, and Paul started preaching again from morning till night. Those people all left, but who did not leave? The crippled man could not walk, so he stayed there. He could only listen repeatedly, listen repeatedly, listen repeatedly. The Bible tells us,
Verse 9, "He listened to Paul speaking, and Paul, looking intently at him and seeing that he had faith to be made well, said in a loud voice, 'Stand upright on your feet.' And he sprang up and began walking."
That man had never heard the gospel before. Everyone else had run away, but he was there listening over and over again. At that moment, Paul saw his faith and said, "Stand up." Did he have faith? His faith came from hearing the word, Amen!
Do not expect him to have experienced many miracles or to have kept many commandments. He could not do that because he could not perform those things. But do you see? In the process of continually listening to Paul preach, he generated faith and was able to jump up and walk. This is a miracle, Amen! So today, if you have any illness in your body, I suggest you listen to the gospel repeatedly; it will bring you faith and miracles, Amen!
Point Two: You Can Only Act on the Word by Listening Repeatedly
In Deuteronomy 28:1, it tells us,
"And if you faithfully obey the voice of the Lord your God, being careful to do all his commandments that I command you today, the Lord your God will set you high above all the nations of the earth."
Do you see? Actually, we cannot see how this relates to what we are talking about today in Chinese, but in the original Hebrew, the word "obey" has two words, and it is repeated, called "shama, shama." What does it mean? It means "listen, listen." I have told brothers and sisters before that if Jesus repeats a word while preaching, you should pay attention; that word is very important. You see, when Jesus says, "Truly, truly, I say to you," it means that the following words are very important. If it were nonsense, He would not say it like that.
Usually, if you tell someone, "You need to listen carefully," it means that what follows is very important. Similarly, you see God telling the Israelites here, "If you carefully listen, listen to the words of your God, the following blessings will come upon you." Then there is another sentence that says, "After you listen, you can obey." If you have not listened at all, how can you obey? Today, many people get this wrong. Many people always tell us, "You need to have good behavior; strive to do good." But people may not be able to do it.
Today, do we all know we should pray more? But if I tell you, "You must pray every day," how do you feel after hearing that? You will unconsciously dislike praying; you will feel like it is something I have to force you to do. Brothers and sisters, but if every day I let you listen to the gospel of God, after listening, you will naturally want to pray. You will feel that being with God in prayer is a wonderful moment, and people will love to pray. Isn't that how people will act?
You need to let them first understand God's grace, and then they will be willing to do the things of grace.
Now someone might ask, the Bible also tells us not to just listen to the word but to act on it.
Let us look at James 1:22-25,
"But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man who looks intently at his natural face in a mirror. For he looks at himself and goes away and at once forgets what he was like. But the one who looks into the perfect law, the law of liberty, and perseveres, being no hearer who forgets but a doer who acts, he will be blessed in his doing."
Here it seems to emphasize "you should act," right? The problem is, where does he get the strength to do such things? It starts with listening. If he has not heard this grace, how can he act out this grace?
Okay, let us see what this passage means. When interpreting the Bible, never take out a single sentence; that is very dangerous! We need to look at the context. Verse 22 tells us, "You should act, do not come every day just to listen." Does it seem like acting is more important?
Now, looking further, if you just "listen" and "do not act," you are deceiving yourself. A person who hears the word but does not act is like someone who looks at himself in a mirror.
Many times, when you listen to my preaching, you might say, "That was really good," but when you get home, you forget. Do not blame yourself; this is too important; it is too normal, Amen? What you need to do is listen repeatedly. This passage tells us that after seeing, he goes away and immediately forgets what he looked like. How do you do it? This is the key point; Verse 25 is the key, the answer. Verse 25 says,
"But the one who looks into the perfect law, the law of liberty, and perseveres, being no hearer who forgets but a doer who acts, he will be blessed in his doing."
Brothers and sisters, what does the law refer to here? What is the perfect law that brings freedom? What allows us to be free today? It is the truth, it is the Holy Spirit. So the law here does not refer to the Ten Commandments because the Ten Commandments cannot give people freedom, Amen! The true perfect law that brings freedom is the law of love, the law of the Holy Spirit of Jesus Christ; it can bring us true freedom. The Bible tells us that where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.
So today, when we listen to the word, is the Holy Spirit in our hearts? You will truly find that if you also listen and forget, you need to listen repeatedly. Keep listening, and make this word your own, and you will not forget.
When Jewish children go to school, they spend the first half of the day reading the first five books of the Bible. Children read these things from a young age, just like we read the words of Deuteronomy. They read them every day; it does not matter if the children do not understand. They keep reading them every day, and you will find that in the process of their repeated reading, wisdom will come.
Brothers and sisters, it is the same. Today, we have received more than they did; it is the law of freedom, brothers and sisters. So if you repeatedly read God's words, repeatedly listen to the grace of Christ, you will surely understand the grace within, and this grace will come upon you. Then after you understand, you will naturally live it out.
Let me give brothers and sisters an example. Our sister Wang just bought a house yesterday, in the city center area, where it is two thousand yuan per square meter. Brothers and sisters, is that good news? She has already bought it. How do you think she feels now? Besides being happy, she cannot help but tell everyone, "You do not know that place is really good; it is only two thousand yuan per square meter; you should hurry and go!" She would feel so uncomfortable keeping it to herself that she cannot sleep at night. This is good news, brothers and sisters. If you have received God's grace upon you, you will also be unable to help but tell others. This is good news, brothers and sisters.
We do not deliberately make others say, "You need to preach the gospel; you need to preach the gospel." You let them truly understand the good news of Christ, listen to the word repeatedly, and recognize the beauty of the gospel, and they will naturally act out the things of grace.
What does James tell us here? "You should look carefully at the perfect law that brings freedom, and you should listen to it often. This way, you will not forget what you heard, but you will act on it, and you will be blessed in what you do."
This does not mean we should return to the Old Testament law but to follow the law of the Holy Spirit. You repeatedly listen to such words of grace, and you will naturally want to act.
Now, someone might say, what is special about the law of the Holy Spirit? When you are weak, He will give you strength, making you strong again. Even if you fall a thousand times, God will lift you up a thousand and one times again. As long as you keep listening to the word, you will not be weak. We should not keep declaring, "I am so weak lately." I will tell you a method: keep listening repeatedly to the word, and you will become strong.
Some people need success (I am not denying this), so they listen to many successful speakers. Of course, I have listened to them before; I used to do business, and I have heard some marketing masters speak. I can even recite what they said, but brothers and sisters, that does not necessarily lead us to success. That is someone else's success, not something that can be replicated.
You see, he succeeded by doing this, so you do the same; you may not succeed. If success were that simple, do you know how many people have memorized it? Why are they still not successful?
But today, there is one thing that is different. The best wisdom in the world is given to you by God, and it is in the Bible. If you say, "I do not understand reading the Bible," that is okay; you can repeatedly listen to my sermons. God will make these words become your strength, Amen! When you listen repeatedly, God's wisdom will be given to you, and God will support you until you enter prosperity. Hallelujah! Thank the Lord!
Let us pray together:
Loving Heavenly Father, we thank and praise you. Your words are our strength and help. We are willing to continually listen to the words of Christ, which will generate faith and wisdom. In the new week, I believe you have prepared abundant blessings for me. No matter where I go, you will be with me, helping me, guiding me on the path of righteousness. Let me experience your presence and power!
New friends:
Today, your coming here is not a coincidence but God's guidance, leading you to listen to His words because He wants to bless you. He wants you to receive His grace; He wants to change your life. All of this is simply because God loves you. He has a beautiful plan for your life. He sent His beloved Son, Jesus, into this world, not to judge you but to save you. He sent His Son to die on the cross, bearing your sins, so that today, through Jesus Christ, you can receive all the blessings in heaven and on earth.
Please let the gospel of Christ take root in your heart through continuous listening. This week, you will be blessed because of it. Thank and praise the Lord. In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray, Amen!
