The Third Epistle of John, Chapter 1, Verses 2 to 4

Dear brothers, I wish that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers. For I rejoiced greatly when brethren came and testified of the truth that is in you, just as you walk in the truth. I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth.

Let us pray:

Loving Heavenly Father, we thank and praise You! Today we gather before You to receive Your word; may Your truth always be in our hearts. Grant us the strength to walk in truth. You desire for me to prosper in all things. Today, through Your word, grant us the wisdom and ability we need at this moment. Bless the time that follows. In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, we pray, Amen!

Brothers and sisters, we have read many scriptures in the Bible that mention prosperity. If we do not understand what it means to prosper in all things, it will be difficult for us to comprehend when we read, "I wish that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers." You see, the first is prosperity in all things, the second is the prosperity of the soul. What exactly is prosperity? The original Greek meaning of the word prosperity refers to a good road, a beautiful journey.

Prosperity does not merely refer to financial prosperity but indicates that all aspects of life are good. In other words, your relationships with your children, with colleagues, and with family are all a beautiful journey; this is called prosperity. This passage points out three different aspects of life: one is material, one is physical, and one is spiritual.

God desires for us to prosper in every aspect of life, to be developed and flourishing. If you are constantly angry, that is not a beautiful road, and therefore it cannot be called prosperity. Or if you are suffering from illness, that is not a beautiful road either, and it cannot be called prosperity. Although we say that you believe in Jesus, if you are very poor and under pressure every day, that is not prosperity. Brothers and sisters, we must correctly understand what prosperity is.

Let us share the first point, God Wants Us to Prosper in All Things.

The scripture from 1 Corinthians 16:2 states, On the first day of the week, let each one of you lay something aside, storing up as he may prosper, that there be no collections when I come.

In the original text, this passage contains a section about prosperity. The meaning in the original text is that on the first day of each week, you should take out the portion that God has prospered you and then offer it. God has given you many blessings of prosperity, one of which includes finances, and you take out the portion that God has prospered you to offer, thanking the Lord.

From the original text, we see that the term prosperity can indeed be used in economic contexts. Many Christians, when discussing prosperity and success, will say that such topics should not be discussed as they are worldly. In the eyes of some, it is always believed that the poorer one is, the more spiritual and devout they are, and they feel that Christians do not deserve to have abundant blessings. It seems that as long as one has these, they will be corrupted.

I do not know if you have this kind of view. When I was young, I also went to church, and in my impression, the church was not a place of abundance but rather a gathering place for the poor, the sick, and the lost.

Why does it leave such an impression on others? This is the impression that many Christians have left on the world in the past. Some believers even feel embarrassed to evangelize to wealthy people, saying that these people do not need it. It is precisely some people's erroneous views that make the world think that only those with problems need to come to church. In the past, I did not feel that the church had any power; it seemed that when we went to church, we just donated some money, pitying them!

But what does the Bible say? I wish that you may prosper in all things. This is the heart of our God.

Before I received the call to full-time ministry, I had already seen the current state of the church in China. Some people in the church actually contribute a lot, possibly over a million. However, they give very little to the pastors and preachers. It seems that they can only maintain their living. More than that is impossible.

Many pastors have to spend a long time praying for their livelihood. Such prayers are acceptable, but they are actually unnecessary; they should not spend time on this. Because the Bible says, Do not worry about what you will eat or what you will drink. God has already provided; God has not failed to supply this church, but human limitations have restricted it.

So they have to spend a lot of time praying to God or moving brothers and sisters to give offerings, etc. At that time, I visited several churches and saw this situation. I asked the elders of the church, "Why don’t you give the preacher a little more money? If his living improves, he can do more for the church." Do you know what the elders of their church said?

"If I give him more, he will fall; if I give him more, he will not be so humble. He will become proud."

What they meant was: when a person is poor, they will serve humbly; they can spend a lot of time praying to God. If the pastor has money, the believers will fall! Some even gossip about their pastor buying an expensive pair of shoes, saying it is too wasteful.

In the 1980s in China, many young preachers were raised up. Why is there still a shortage today? Why are there still so few young people raised up in the church? One reason is this.

I used to know many full-time ministers around my age. In the end, they all had to give up their ministry and go to work in society. When we sat together, a few brothers cried while talking about their situations. They said they did not want to serve God. It was because the church provided such support that they could not even afford the normal expenses at home, let alone pay for their children's tuition. In the end, they had to give up their ministry.

Brothers and sisters, this situation is where people have restricted God's prosperity. In the past, I saw these things and did not want to be a preacher. Although I knew that God had called me to full-time ministry at that time, I was very clear in my heart that I did not want to go! When we return to the Bible, we realize that this is not God's intention. God absolutely does not want His children to be poor and weak. He desires for us to live prosperous lives.

When we mention the word prosperity, although many people do not know what it specifically includes, you know it certainly does not mean poverty, weakness, or lack. Where is the problem? It is people's misunderstanding of God.

Psalm 50:9-12

I will not take a bull from your house, nor goats out of your folds. For every beast of the forest is Mine, and the cattle on a thousand hills are Mine. I know all the birds of the mountains, and the wild beasts of the field are Mine. If I were hungry, I would not tell you, for the world is Mine and all its fullness.

Brothers and sisters, what do you think when you read this? Everything in heaven and earth, all that exists in the world, is created by God. Does God need to eat? Does God eat barbecue? Does God need gold and silver? Of course, He does not need these. So who are these prepared for?

Genesis 2:8-14

The Lord God planted a garden eastward in Eden, and there He put the man whom He had formed. 9 And out of the ground, the Lord God made every tree grow that is pleasant to the sight and good for food. The tree of life was also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. 10 Now a river went out of Eden to water the garden, and from there it parted and became four riverheads. 11 The name of the first is Pishon; it is the one which skirts the whole land of Havilah, where there is gold. 12 And the gold of that land is good. Bdellium and the onyx stone are there. 13 The name of the second river is Gihon; it is the one which goes around the whole land of Cush. 14 The name of the third river is Hiddekel; it is the one which goes toward the east of Assyria. The fourth river is the Euphrates.

If, according to some people, God's children should not be wealthy or prosperous, then who are these for?

The above scripture makes it very clear that God created these for Adam and his descendants. God gave Adam all kinds of beautiful things to delight the eyes. These will help people understand God's love and let us know that all the blessings we receive come from God!

Brothers and sisters, it is because some people's understanding is flawed that they ultimately accept the wrong ideas without thinking. The reason is that many people who believe do not read the Bible. Naturally, they do not know what God's word says. Brothers and sisters, where is the standard of our faith? It is the Bible. Amen! You must be cautious and ensure that the teachings you receive align with the Bible. If they align with the Bible, we will be blessed when we believe. If they are human ideas, they may bring us loss and harm.

The teaching I received in the past was that Christians should not talk about money; discussing money easily leads to downfall. They quote the Bible saying that the love of money is the root of all evil! Brothers and sisters, does the Bible say this?

Let’s take a look at 1 Timothy 6:8-10

8 And having food and clothing, with these we shall be content. 9 But those who desire to be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and harmful lusts which drown men in destruction and perdition. 10 For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, for which some have strayed from the faith in their greediness, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

When we read the Bible, we must consider the context! We cannot take verses out of context. Here it does say that having food and clothing, we should be content. But God does not wish for us to be poor. The meaning here is that if a person's heart is filled with money, they will be deceived and fall into a snare. Such lusts will lead to destruction and perdition. God does not want us to live in lust, but He has never said that He wants us to be poor.

God wants us to prosper; He wants us to be wealthy in finances, but He does not want us to be greedy for money. When a person has greed, they will stray from the faith and fall into many sorrows. Our Lord desires for you to have a lot of wealth, but He does not want you to be a slave to money.

Some people also say that it is wrong for Christians to talk about success. They even think that pastors who preach prosperity are preaching the prosperity gospel. Ironically, those who say this do not want to live in poverty themselves; they also wish to be wealthy and healthy.

Brothers and sisters, what you believe is what your life will be like. If you think God wants you to be poor, living like Lazarus in this world, then that is how you will live. People can have many opinions. Which one is correct? When you cannot distinguish, return to the Bible. See which one is correct. Because God's words will not change.

Romans 8:32, He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?

Brothers and sisters, what does this verse mean? Does God not love Jesus, so He sent Him to the world to die for us? Of course not! The most precious thing in heaven is Jesus! He is God's most precious only begotten Son. But the Bible says that He did not spare His own Son for whom? He came for you. The Heavenly Father sent Jesus to the world so that you could have life and receive His blessings. He died for our sins on the cross and rose from the dead three days later. Thus, God's righteousness was satisfied, and He could give us all blessings.

Shall He not also freely give you all things with Him? All things refer to everything in the world. Freely given to us. Can you be sure it is for you? All the good things in the world (money, health, prosperity, joy, peace...) can be received through Jesus.

From this, we see that God does not want His children to be poor.

Even we do not want our children to be poor. How could you think God is like that? Is there any parent who says, "I hope my child is born with the goal of learning from Lazarus, covered in sores, being carried to the rich man's gate, picking up crumbs from the table to eat, because that way they can enter the kingdom of heaven"?

Who would want that? You all hope your children will succeed, be prosperous, and be healthy. Even we wish for this, so why do people think God wants us to be poor and pitiful?

Matthew 7:9-11

Which of you, if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone? 10 Or if he asks for a fish, will he give him a serpent? 11 If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him?

We are not perfect, but we all know that we would rather suffer ourselves than let our children suffer; we would rather be poor ourselves than let our children attend the best schools and live prosperous lives. Even we are willing to live this way. When children ask for something, we try every means to satisfy them. How much more will our Heavenly Father, who is rich and lacks nothing, do for us? We are all His beloved!

Some say that being poor can lead to the kingdom of heaven. God has never said that only the poor can enter the kingdom of heaven.

Mark 10:17-25

Now as He was going out on the road, one came running, knelt before Him, and asked Him, "Good Teacher, what shall I do that I may inherit eternal life?"

18 So Jesus said to him, "Why do you call Me good? No one is good but One, that is, God. 19 You know the commandments: 'Do not commit adultery,' 'Do not murder,' 'Do not steal,' 'Do not bear false witness,' 'Do not defraud,' 'Honor your father and your mother.'" 20 And he answered and said to Him, "Teacher, all these things I have kept from my youth up."

21 Then Jesus, looking at him, loved him, and said to him, "One thing you lack: Go your way, sell whatever you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, take up the cross, and follow Me." 22 But he was sad at this word, and went away sorrowful, for he had great possessions. 23 Then Jesus looked around and said to His disciples, "How hard it is for those who have riches to enter the kingdom of God!"

24 And the disciples were astonished at His words. But Jesus answered again and said to them, "Children, how hard it is for those who trust in riches to enter the kingdom of God! 25 It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God."

In this passage, although Jesus ultimately says how hard it is for those who have riches to enter the kingdom of God, it does not mean that all rich people cannot enter heaven. Looking at the context, we can see that this young rich ruler did not believe in Jesus at all. He relied on his own wealth. What he cared about most was his money; such a person is selfish and has no compassion for others.

Jesus asked him to give to the poor to see if he had a heart to love others. As a result, he became sad and walked away. In the choice between money and Jesus, he chose to give up believing in Jesus and following Him. That is where his problem lies. But Jesus never said that rich people find it difficult to enter the kingdom of heaven. Everyone must understand this point clearly.

The Bible mentions financial prosperity in many places. We all know that family life needs to be secured, children need to go to school, and interpersonal relationships require money to maintain. If our lives are problematic, how can we sincerely thank our God for His blessings?

Even in evangelism, preachers also need to make a living. If we do not even have basic living security, how can we talk about spreading the gospel to the ends of the earth? That would be empty talk. If we use money correctly, God is willing to give to us. When we are prosperous, we can help more people in need and support the church's evangelistic work. There are eternal rewards in heaven for this!

Let us look at Abraham. When God first met Abraham, He said to him in Genesis 12:2,

I will make you a great nation; I will bless you and make your name great; and you shall be a blessing.

Brothers and sisters, Abraham was a blessed man of God. At that time, did Abraham have good behavior? His father was an idol seller, as known from other sources. Abraham's hometown was in Mesopotamia, one of the cradles of human civilization. It was already very developed at that time. His father sold idols, and Abraham helped his father sell idols. One day, when his father went out, Abraham smashed all the idols. When his father returned, he was very angry and asked why he smashed them all. Abraham said, "No, I didn't smash them; I set out some offerings in the courtyard, and they all rushed to eat, and that’s how they fell." His father said, "You are talking nonsense; can they come down by themselves?" Abraham replied, "Since you know they cannot come down, why set them up?" At that time, they were selling idols.

However, when God met Abraham, He said, I will make you a great nation.

The blessings God gives us exceed what we ask or think.

At that time, Abraham was not yet a spiritual person. He did not understand spiritual matters in heaven. He was just a fleshly person. So what did he understand by "I will bless you"? Gold, silver, cattle, and donkeys; in today's terms, it means successful business and many possessions.

I will bless you and make your name great.

In addition to making Abraham prosperous, He also made him famous. How famous was Abraham's name? Brothers and sisters, almost everyone in the world knows the name Abraham; God's promise shows us that He is a faithful God.

Finally, there is one more phrase: and you shall be a blessing. Amen! This is God's intention. It is not just to let us have enough to eat and wear, focusing only on our enjoyment while watching others starve without compassion.

God gives us prosperity and wealth so that we can also be a blessing to others. This also perfectly reflects the state of the church; when many people in the church prosper, they should help the weaker ones, whether financially or technically, to supply them so that they can also prosper. This is God's intention.

Abraham indeed did this; his nephew Lot initially did not have much money, but later, following Abraham, Lot became very wealthy. Those connected to Abraham were blessed by God. Abraham truly believed God's words and believed that God would bless him. He was also willing to pass on the blessings to more people. The meaning here is very clear: God wants you to prosper in all things and also make your name great.

We receive prosperity from God, whether in finances, relationships, or family; we can become the best testimony for others. We can be influential witnesses of our Lord Jesus' grace!

Genesis 13:1-2

Then Abram went up from Egypt, he and his wife and all that he had, and Lot with him, to the South. 2 Abram was very rich in livestock, in silver, and in gold.

This passage does not require much explanation; you understand what it means. This passage cannot be interpreted as spiritual prosperity. Many people talk about prosperity and success, saying we should pursue spiritual prosperity and heavenly wealth. But how can you apply this to heaven? Is there a lot of cattle, donkeys, and servants in heaven?

Was the blessing God gave to Abraham only for him? Even his son and grandson were blessed by God.

Dear brothers, I wish that you may prosper in all things and be in health.

Prosperity includes not only financial wealth but also physical health. Some people in the world are indeed overweight and famous, but many have poor health; what significance does that have? All these blessings are given to us by God. We must first believe that God is willing to bless us so that we are all prosperous, and in this way, we can become a blessing to others.

Let us share the second point, How Can We Prosper in All Things?

Put God first. Then act according to God's word.

What does it mean to put God first? It does not mean neglecting family and work to focus solely on evangelism. It does not refer to these. God's mission and position for us are different. No matter where we are, we must put Jesus first, aiming to glorify God. Whether you encounter good or bad things, you should think of God first, pray to Him, and communicate with Him. That is enough.

But it does not mean that we use Sunday gatherings as an excuse to do nothing and let others do it. Because if you do that, your family will not be harmonious. You can wisely arrange everything at home. For example, if we are gathering on Sunday and your children and husband are not working, you can eat half an hour earlier, and you will have plenty of time. You can come early, chat with everyone, share experiences from the week, pray together, etc.

Putting God first means placing God at the top of your life; God's matters take precedence over other matters. Many people do not yet have this habit. When something happens, they think of using their own methods to handle it. Only when they cannot manage it do they remember to pray and seek God. If you put God first, you will pray first and then make other decisions. For example, if your child has a fever and you want to take them to the hospital, you can pray while going to the hospital. This is deciding based on our faith.

Let us look at the prosperity in the Bible. When was Abraham's prosperity? God said to Abraham, "Leave your country, your family, and your father's house, and go to the land that I will show you. I will make you a great nation."

When a person places God first in their heart, they are willing to act according to God's word, whether they understand it or not. Abraham believed that what God said would surely come to pass. He believed, so he acted.

When Abraham heard God's word, he immediately took his father, wife, Lot, and his household and left his hometown. From that moment on, God blessed him.

After Abraham followed God, his life began to change. Lot also became prosperous during this time. I do not oppose brothers and sisters making money; rather, I do not want money to bind you. It is not that I do not want brothers and sisters to do housework; it is that these trivial matters should not become your bondage. In fact, even if you do not clean on Sunday, it will not greatly affect the appearance of your home. But some people say they must clean on Sunday, so they cannot go to church. Ultimately, it comes down to whether or not you are putting God first.

What binds us is only our hearts; these household chores cannot hinder us.

When you follow the Lord Jesus, health, prosperity, joy, and peace will follow you. When you follow the Lord Jesus, His love will fill your family, and everything will be different. When you are willing to act according to God's word, your business will improve. Therefore, prosperity hinges on putting God first and acting according to His word; wealth, prosperity, and health will chase after you.

Deuteronomy 28:1-2

Now it shall come to pass, if you diligently obey the voice of the Lord your God, to observe carefully all His commandments which I command you today, that the Lord your God will set you high above all nations of the earth. And all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you, because you obey the voice of the Lord your God.

You shall be blessed in the city, and blessed in the country.

Blessed shall be the fruit of your body, the produce of your ground, and the increase of your herds, the increase of your cattle, and the offspring of your flocks.

Blessed shall be your basket and your kneading bowl.

Blessed shall you be when you come in, and blessed shall you be when you go out.

However, there is a condition: you must obey all of God's commandments.

We cannot obey on our own.

How do we understand this passage under the New Covenant? Jesus Christ has already fulfilled the requirements of the Ten Commandments for us; He has completed all the requirements of the law and all righteousness. When you follow Jesus, the blessings mentioned there will come upon you because you are now walking with Jesus. Wherever you go, these blessings will follow you and come upon you.

Those who follow the Lord Jesus will inherit double blessings. What does double blessing refer to? One is spiritual blessings in heaven, and the other is material blessings on earth. God hopes that your family, your relationships, your finances, and your work will all prosper.

The degree of this prosperity is the same as the degree of your soul's prosperity. The more we know the Lord Jesus, the more we can receive.

The Bible says that the blessing of the Lord makes one rich, and He adds no sorrow with it.

Our blessings are given by God. As long as you are willing to put Jesus first, God will give these to you, and no one can take them away. God gives you the wisdom to gain wealth, making you prosperous without sorrow. In this way, you can enjoy being in God's grace every day. Every day is joyful.

The text of today also has two more sentences,

There are brethren who testify of the truth that is in you, just as you walk in the truth. I have no greater joy than this.

Here John tells us that you understand the truth. You are already blessed, but if you are willing to walk according to the truth, you will be blessed.

Many Christians also know these scriptures and believe that God is the God of blessings, but many do not experience such blessings. Where is the problem? It is in walking according to the truth. When you walk according to the truth, the blessings will come upon you. Let me give an analogy to explain. It may not be very appropriate, but it is convenient for the brothers and sisters to understand.

Now every household has tap water; you no longer need to dig a well in your backyard to fetch water, right? Isn't that a blessing? When does this blessing come? It is when you turn on the faucet. After you install it, you turn the faucet, and the water flows.

But if you do not turn it on, no matter how loudly you shout, it is useless because it is not voice-activated!

Some say that prayer can change everything. What I mean is: you cannot just pray there; you must act according to the truth, and then we will see. In fact, God's blessings are always there. When do you let the blessings come upon you? It is when you act according to the truth.

John says, "I hear that you walk in the truth; my joy has no greater than this." Why? Because he sees prosperity has come upon them. We often say that when you are sick in your body, you should declare in the name of the Lord Jesus, "By the stripes of Jesus, I am healed." But right after you declare this, you doubt whether it will work! In fact, if you believe and declare, and you believe you are already healthy, then act and speak like a healthy person!

Many people lack the action of walking according to God's truth.

How specifically to do this? Meditate on God's word.

I wish that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.

The degree of your prosperity is determined by the degree of your soul's prosperity. Our spirit does not need to prosper; do you know why? Because the Holy Spirit given to you is inherently prosperous. The spirit within us is the same as Jesus' spirit, so the spirit does not need to prosper. What needs to prosper is our soul.

What is the soul? The Bible says, "As your heart is," referring to the soul part. Our Chinese Bible does not make this clear. Many times we translate spirit and soul together, "with all your heart and soul," referring to our soul part.

The Holy Spirit is prosperous, but our soul part has not been renewed. The more our soul is renewed, the more our body will be renewed. Every time we listen to the word, the purpose of attending gatherings is to renew our thoughts and ideas. If our soul is not renewed, we will act according to the existing level of our soul, such as our past experiences and old traditions.

The more gatherings you attend, the more truth you hear, the more your soul will be renewed. Your behavior will naturally change.

The Bible says that a joyful heart is good medicine, but a sorrowful spirit dries the bones.

In fact, it is a sorrowful soul, a sorrowful thought that dries the bones. What does this represent? If a person thinks negatively every day, thinking about how others look down on them, thinking about how wronged they are, how pitiful they are, their body will not be very good either. Similarly, this person may indeed have some illness, but if they maintain a joyful heart every day, that illness will eventually disappear. Because a joyful heart is good medicine.

If we only look at this world, how can we be joyful? True joy comes from God; His words will give you joy and peace.

Let me give you an example,

Psalm 23:1-6

(A Psalm of David.) The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.

He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters.

He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness for His name's sake.

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.

You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; my cup runs over.

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.

The Lord is my shepherd, so I shall not want. No matter what I lack now, I look to my Lord; He is my supply, my help, my Lord.

He will supply all my needs and lead me to a place of rest; my heart will not be afraid or discouraged. No matter what I encounter, He is with me, helping me, guiding me, and comforting me.

In His house, I am the most blessed. I am willing to follow Him all my life.

James 1:22-25

But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man observing his natural face in a mirror; for he observes himself, goes away, and immediately forgets what kind of man he was. But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it, and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in what he does.

Hearing the word, if you believe it, you will surely act on it. He will be blessed in what he does; this blessing will come upon him. What is being thought of here? What is the perfect law of liberty? It refers not to the Ten Commandments but to the law of the Spirit, the law of love, the law of Jesus Christ's love. Do not listen and forget when you go home; after listening, you must live it out in your life. You can take a verse and meditate on it repeatedly, "I am the beloved lamb of God; He will supply all my needs."

Last time, I prayed for a sister's son in our church. The doctor diagnosed that her son had epilepsy, and when it occurred, he would faint. They had prescribed many medications for him, saying that there were epileptic waves in his brain that could not be treated. The most advanced method was to open his head and place a chip that could block the waves when they intersected. It could not completely solve the problem; it only blocked it. There was a possibility of recurrence or worsening.

Later, when I visited her home, I saw the medication prescribed for such a small child, with side effects listed over two pages. The medication prescribed cannot cure the disease, but the side effects are too severe. What to do? If you do not take it, you cannot control it; if you take it, the side effects are too great and seriously affect the child.

At this time, we could only say to completely entrust it to God. Since the medication could not control it, we would put it in prayer and let God help us. We prayed together, and after a week, when taking this medication, he had seizures three times a week. After we prayed, he did not have any seizures for a week.

If you believe that God's blessing is upon your child, that blessing will come upon him. If you pray, "Lord, You have healed him," and right after you pray, you quickly check the medication, noting all the other medications, just in case the prayer does not work, you must remember when to take this medication and how much. When you think this way, the devil will take away your faith and make you more worried.

When you truly believe God's word has already been fulfilled in you, fulfilled in this child, you will see God's glory and power.

Thank the Lord, let us pray together:

Loving Heavenly Father, we especially thank and praise You. You desire for us to prosper in all things and be in health; You do not want us to live like Lazarus in poverty, nor do You want us to live in sickness. We are willing to prosper in all things and be in health, just as our souls prosper.

We are willing to renew our thoughts and ideas through listening to the word of God. In the new week, please give us strength to understand as much truth as we can and to live out as much as we can. I believe that this week I will experience Your presence and power. I expect good things to happen to me. In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, we pray, Amen!
